Course terms
Last updated 9 September 2026
These terms are being rewritten and are not final. The previous version made all payments non-refundable in every circumstance and asked attendees to release the clinic from liability. Against a consumer neither of those is likely to be enforceable, so they have not been carried over. The cancellation periods below are a shape to fill in, not the clinic's policy — please confirm before booking.
Booking a place
A place is confirmed when payment is received. Courses are taught in person with limited places, so a booking holds a place that cannot then be offered to anyone else.
Entry requirements
Wood therapy and Ultrasound cavitation and radio frequency: Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or Level 2 Beauty Therapy or Facial.
The post-surgery MLD masterclass: To enrol in this course, you need a Swedish Massage certification or a Level 3 Body Massage certificate. This ensures you already have the basic massage knowledge required to build on more advanced techniques and complete the training safely and effectively.
If you are unsure whether you qualify, ask us before booking rather than after.
If you need to cancel
Tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to move you to another date.
To be confirmed: the notice period for a full refund, and the point after which a deposit is retained. As a consumer buying a service at a distance you also have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which these terms do not remove.
If we need to cancel
If we have to cancel or move a course — illness, or too few bookings to run it — you will be offered a place on the next available date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
On the day
Courses include practical work on live models. Please tell us in advance about anything that might affect your ability to take part, so we can plan for it.
Your liability and ours
We take reasonable care in how we teach. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — those cannot be excluded by any contract term.
Once you are qualified, treating your own clients is your responsibility, including your own insurance and your own compliance with the rules that apply to the treatments you offer.
Course materials and intellectual property
All course materials, manuals, videos, recordings, worksheets, techniques and methods provided during training are the exclusive property of Midland Contour Academy.
You may not copy, record, photograph, scan, share, sell, teach, post online, distribute or transfer any materials or techniques to anyone else. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the training in your own professional practice — teaching or certifying others from it is not included.
Course content is confidential. Breaching this may result in removal from training, termination of certification, and legal action.
These clauses are reproduced from the clinic's existing training agreement and are the part of it that genuinely protects the Academy. They were dropped in an earlier draft of this page along with the unenforceable clauses, which was a mistake — a £999 course whose method can be filmed and resold has no protection at all.
Conduct
We may remove a student for misconduct, disruption, dishonesty or breach of these terms.
Certification
Certificates are issued on completion, including the practical assessment and the knowledge check.
Midland Contour Clinic Ltd is an approved CPD provider with The CPD Group, provider number 784049. You can check it on the CPD register.
Agree to these terms
If you are booking a place, please complete this. It is the same agreement you would sign in person.
